Basketball is one of the fastest sports. To play this sport at a high level, physical conditioning is of utmost importance. Teamwork and playing with strategy is key. The game of basketball has always been a big part of the IITGn community. 

IIT Gandhinagar has 1 indoor basketball court with polyurethane flooring and a viewing gallery of 40 spectators. Halls are prepared with echo-proof walls for avoiding noise of basketball hitting the ground. Additionally, we also house 3 outdoor Basketball courts with sufficient floodlights.

RULES & REGULATIONS:

1. Timings will be 6 AM to 10 AM & 5 PM to 10 PM on weekdays and 6 AM to 10 PM on weekends.
2. Only clean non – marking shoes ( preferably high ankles) are allowed.
3. Proper sports attire (i.e. Tracksuit, shorts & t-shirts) is a must
4. Spectators will be allowed only in the viewing gallery.
5. Any heavy objects (like table,chair, etc.) should not be brought inside the hall
6. Food and beverages will not be allowed inside the hall.
