Open Chess Tournament was organized in Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar on 8th September 2019. The tournament consisted of 6 rounds with each round of 10+0 minutes .The tournament received 50+ registrations from the IIT-Gn students and 30 participants turning up for the tournament . The main objective of the tournament was for the selection of the team which will be representing IIT-Gn for the inter-college tournaments and for the first year students to get better motivation for the chess at IIT-Gn.
